The Bad Batch Season 2 Finale Reveals [SPOILER] Unexpected Connection to Omega

The Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 finale proved to be an emotional rollercoaster for fans who have grown attached to Clone Force 99. After all, the two-part season finale dropped some major shockers including the return of Rogue One characters and Cid's betrayal. However, it was one character's unexpected connection to Omega that proved to be a game-changer.

In Star Wars: The Bad Batch Season 2 Episode 16, Clone Force 99 is cornered in a rail car and everyone is desperate to escape Imperial forces. Although Tech manages to get it moving again, he is caught in a second rail car that has been derailed. Despite Wrecker's efforts, Tech chooses to cut himself loose to free the rail car and falls to his death.

The rest of the team retreats to Ord Martell but it doesn't take long before Cid betrays them and contacts Doctor Royce Hemlock. Hunter and Wrecker are captured, forcing Omega to come out of hiding to save them. She is then captured by Hemlock and taken to Mount Tantiss.

Omega is finally reunited with Nala Se, who is once again forced by Hemlock to work for him. As Omega is taken in for an examination, she finds the unconscious Crosshair and meets Emerie Karr, who reveals she is Omega's genetic sister.

It's a surprising connection considering that Emerie had previously displayed empathy towards Crosshair and seemed unwilling to harm him. Could Emerie turn out to be an important ally to Clone Force 99 or will she be the one who betrays Omega for the Galactic Empire? We'll have to wait until the third season of The Bad Batch.

The fifteenth episode of The Bad Batch Season 2 is titled The Summit while the final episode is titled Plan 99. All 16 episodes of the second season are now streaming on Disney+.
