Tessa Thompson Doesn't Know What Happens to Valkyrie After Avengers: Endgame

Fans were quite happy when the posters for Avengers: Endgame revealed that Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie is alive and will be appearing in the film. Many were worried that the character has been killed at the start of Infinity War but that doesn't appear to be the case. As we wait for the film to come out, many have been curious about Valkyrie's MCU future after Endgame.

Speaking with Collider, Thompson revealed that she isn't sure what's going to happen to Valkyrie after Endgame. She is happy that her character is alive (for now anyway) and we aren't sure what happens to her (or anyone outside of Spider-Man) until we see Endgame.

"All I know is that she's alive, which is a big start. I don't know anything about what happens to her, or how she'll be positioned, if at all, in the next phase. I have some ideas, but I don't know."

Thompson and a number of other actresses have made it clear that they would like to see an all-female Avengers movie or something similar to that. We'll have to wait and see if that will happen anytime soon but we don't really know what's in phase four. Who knows? That all-female Avengers film could still happen.

Avengers: Endgame comes out on April 26.
