Yes, SBS has just confirmed Taxi Driver season 3, which means that fans would get to see the beloved anti-hero Kim Do Gi as the South Korean star previously hinted that he will return for the third installment.
Taxi Driver Season 3 Cast: Will Lee Je Hoon Join the Third Sequel?
In behind-the-scenes footage released by SBS Catch, Lee Je Hoon expressed how he is looking forward to the possibility of having Taxi Driver season 3.
During his break, while filming his golf scene, the actor teased viewers and said, “I’ll learn golf before Taxi Driver 3” and added, “If I had known this would happen, I would have practiced golf. I’ll learn it before ‘Taxi Driver 3’ starts. I’ll play better then.”
He mentioned it before SBS officially announced the confirmation of Taxi Driver season 3.

As for the cast lineup, the network and the drama officials are yet to confirm who will return for the upcoming sequel.
On the other hand, as viewers wait for the much-awaited return of Kim Do Gi, here’s a look back at the iconic cameos seen in Taxi Driver season 2.
Taxi Driver Season 2 Cameos
Fans truly loved the chemistry between the rainbow taxi group as Lee Je Hoon takes on the role of Kim Do Gi.
Joining him in the mysterious organization is Kim Eui Sung who portrays Chairman Jung, the founder of Rainbow Taxi and Blue Bird Foundation.
Interestingly the resident hacker and tech point person of the group is Ahn Go Eun, played by Pyo Ye Jin while the duo, Mr. Park and Mr. Choi are played by Bae Yoo Ram and Jang Hyuk Jin.
Besides the team, viewers also get to see a series of familiar faces in Taxi Driver 2.
In episode 9, Namgoong Min reprised his role as the eccentric lawyer in Chun Ji Hoon, who helped Do Gi with a special case against a female doctor.
To recall, Chun Ji Hoon is the main character in SBS’ One Dollar Lawyer.
Fun fact, Lee Je Hoon also made a special appearance in One Dollar Lawyer episode 6 and played Kim Do Gi.
Joining the list of cameos in Taxi Driver 2 is Park Ho San who played Back Sun’s boss, the Bishop.
The veteran actor is known for his role in Prison Playbook, Lawless Lawyer, Extracurricular, and more.
While viewers are looking forward to how will Kim Do Gi will end his mission, fans are also excited to see Moon Chae Won and Kim So Yeon who both appeared in the season finale.
Kim So Yeon, who is best known for her amazing portrayal of Cheon Seo Jin in The Penthouse: War in Life, appeared as Rainbow Taxi’s first driver,, which makes her Do Gi’s senior.
As for Moon Chae Won, she appeared as Kim Do Gi’s colleague in the military.
