What Is Tales of Wedding Rings About?

Tales of Wedding Rings revolves around Satou, who yearns for his childhood friend, Hime.

The day arrives when she reveals her impending departure, prompting him to follow her through a portal leading to another world.

In this new world, she is on the verge of marrying a prince. A demonic threat emerges, and in a moment of crisis, Hime bestows a kiss upon Satou.

Moreover, she gives him a wedding ring, equipping him with light-based abilities.

She unveils her true identity as a princess from an alternate world who is seeking refuge on Earth.

With her world besieged by demons, she was destined to marry a hero and transfer her ring to give him enormous powers.

Originally intended for the prince, Satou unexpectedly claims the hero’s mantle.

The ring represents one in a collection of five, and to gain the strength necessary to rescue their imperiled world, he must marry four additional princesses.

Only then can he command the elements of fire, earth, water, and wind.

Is Tales of Wedding Rings an Ecchi Anime?

Tales of Wedding Rings is not an ecchi anime. While it may contain suggestive scenes, it is still not an ecchi series. However, Tales of Wedding Rings is certainly a harem isekai anime.

Since Satou is set to have five wives in another realm, it is clear that the anime is a harem series.

The Tales of Wedding Rings anime is based on the manga of the same name written and illustrated by Maybe.

The series is directed by Takashi Naoya (Osamake: Romcom Where The Childhood Friend Won't Lose), and the series composition and scripts are handled by Deko Akao (Komi Can’t Communicate).

Takashi and Saori Nakashiki (My Hero Academia) are credited for the storyboard while Satoshi Hono (Fluffy Paradise) composed the music for Tales of Wedding Rings.

Saori is also credited as one of the chief animation directors along with Atsushi Aono (The Quintessential Quintuplets), Toshimitsu Kobayashi (Dr. Stone: New World), and Yukiyo Komito (My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU).

Tales of Wedding Rings is currently streaming on Crunchyroll. Ani-One Asia has also acquired the license the stream the series in certain Asian regions.
