Taika Waititi Promises to Go Bigger, Bolder, and Brighter with Thor: Love and Thunder

It looks like Marvel director Taika Waititi is promising double the fun of Thor: Ragnarok in his upcoming Marvel movie, Thor: Love and Thunder.

Speaking in an interview with Entertainment Weekly to talk about the next movie that he's working on for Marvel, Waititi couldn't help but promises that Love and Thunder is going to double down on the outlandish humor and vibrant story featured in Ragnarok.

According to Waititi, Love and Thunder is going to go "bigger, bolder, and brighter" than before. The filmmaker says that he's going to take Marvel's favorite Asgardian God of Thunder on a brand new adventure, one that's much bigger than Ragnarok.

"The next Thor film I'm doing, basically, we're sort of launching ourselves again on this adventure film, really. That was the thing really that I loved about doing Ragnarok, it felt like we were just putting Thor on a really cool adventure," Waititi told the site after being named by the publication as one of their Entertainers of the Year. "There's always like new things to see and do, and this one, I think we're gonna double down a lot on that and have it bigger, bolder and brighter. There's just gonna be some really crazy stuff in the film."

There's a lot of excitement building up over Love and Thunder. Not only is the film going to be the first Thor movie after the events of Avengers: Endgame, but it's also going to be the first film marking the return of Natalie Partman's Jane Foster, and this time, Thor's ex is going to become Marvel's new Asgardian God of Thunder.

Exciting yes? We can't wait to see how that happens.

Thor: Love and Thunder premieres on November 5, 2021.
