Taika Waititi Learned Something New About Korg in Avengers: Endgame

Fans who watched Avengers: Endgame was more than happy to see Valkyrie, Korg, and Meek after their fates were left unknown in Avengers: Infinity War. Seeing the supporting cast from Thor: Ragnarok was great since many of us thought they were great characters before and keeping them alive means that we could see more of them in the future. You'd think that Taika Waititi, the director who introduced them to the MCU, would know everything about this version of Korg but it turns out that he learned something new about him during Endgame.

On Twitter, Waititi shared an article about the film's special effects and stated that the movie is how he found out that Korg had three fingers. This is pretty interesting to note since he did direct Korg's live-action debut in Thor: Ragnarok, and even played as him, so not knowing this shows that he's only human. Then again, Waititi is a busy man with a lot of projects so let's give him a break.

Maybe this is why Korg is so bad at Fortnite…

Korg is still in New Asgard with Meek and Valkyrie while Thor ventures out in space with the Guardians of the Galaxy. We probably won't see Korg in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 but there's a slight chance that a Thor 4, possibly directed by Waititi, could give the character some more screen time.

Avengers: Endgame should still be showing in theaters. Thor: Ragnarok is now available on Blu-Ray.
