Sweet Tooth Season 2 certainly delivered the action and brutality as the young hybrids' allies took on the Last Men. However, the second season also confirmed that the biggest threat to Gus and his friends has yet to make a dangerous move.

In Sweet Tooth Season 2, Aimee and Jepperd worked together to free Gus, Wendy and the young hybrids from the Last Men. However, General Abbott had even more dangerous plans as he tries to convince the powerful warlords known as The Three to support his cause.

Although the second season concluded with the death of Abbott, the finale immediately confirmed that we already met the next Big Bad who will terrorize Gus and his friends in a possible Sweet Tooth Season 3.

Helen Zhang, one of the Three warlords, already displayed her ruthlessness by getting rid of Voss and Dutch. However, her terrifying potential was shown as she chopped up body parts and fed them to unseen monsters.

Zhang also has control over the world's limited resources AND Dr. Singh's notes on the cure. With that in mind, we're expecting Zhang to be the next big villain when the series is renewed for a third season.

Although there is darkness, violence, and brutality promised in the season finale, Sweet Tooth Season 2 also ended with a sweet sense of hope. Episode 8 concluded with Gus, Jepperd, Bear, and Wendy embarking on a journey to Alaska in an effort to save Birdie. With that in mind, we're hoping that Gus is finally reunited with his mom in the next season.

Netflix has not yet announced whether Sweet Tooth will be renewed for a third season. However, there is a possibility that an announcement will be made in the next few weeks. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

All eight episodes of Sweet Tooth Season 2 are now streaming on Netflix.
