The CW continues to expand the Arrowverse with the Superman & Lois series that centers on Tyler Hoechlin and Elizabeth Tulloch's characters. An actor has just been recently added to the cast that will be a series regular opposite of the pair, who will play the role of Lana Lang.

Deadline reports that actor Emmanuelle Chriqui will play the popular DC character, who is described as a loan officer at Smallville Bank, choosing to stay there even though others have left for something bigger. Lana will be re-establishing her friendship with Clark Kent, in a time where she's going through one of the challenging stages in her life.

Chriqui is the latest actor to bring the character to life after Kristin Kreuk's portrayal in The CW's Smallville for seven seasons. The Entourage alum has also starred in The Passage, her other credits include Shut Eye, The Grinder, Murder in the First, The Mentalist, and Cleaners. She also appeared on The Knight Before Christmas, Super Troopers 2, and Hospitality, among others. Chriqui also provided the voice of Sapphire Stagg in Cartoon Network's Beware the Batman.

From The Flash executive producer Todd Helbing and Arrowverse producer Greg Berlanti, Superman & Lois follows the story of the pair as they deal with the struggles of becoming working parents in today's society.

Superman & Lois is yet to have a release date.
