For the past few months, we haven’t gotten any news from Netflix over Stranger Things Season 4 with the last major announcements for the show coming last November. However, that is about to change with some season 4 promos teased to be released later this week.
Stranger Things showrunner Noah Schnapp revealed back on January 31 via his Instagram story that more promotional materials would be released later this week. The picture that he posted was of him taking a picture of his TV with the season 1 poster displaying. The caption read as “S4 promo this week… here we go again”

We only know that there will be some sort of promotion coming this week. However, we still don’t know what kind of promotion will be released by Netflix.
Some fans of the show speculate that Netflix might be saving a big date reveal for Stranger Things Season 4 on the Super Bowl since it is just around the corner.
So far, there has been a lot of promotions over the past few years including teaser releases in 2021. The most recent teaser that was released came out on November 6 with the release of the title teaser video as well as the “Welcome to the California” teaser trailer which is said to be the fourth and final teaser.
Recently, both the Netflix Ireland and UK Twitter accounts teased some major news that will be coming this week. In their posts, it states that one of the questions they get asked a lot will be answered. They might be referring to the question “when will Stranger Things season 4 be out?” We just have to wait and see.
Stranger Things Season 4 is set to release around mid-2022 exclusively on Netflix.
