Yes! Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 will arrive in July 2022, so get ready to enjoy the final two massive episodes of the show's fourth season. Netflix already shared its list of films and TV shows coming to its streaming platform in July 2022, and as expected, Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 will be released this month!
However, you won't have to wait for long as the second volume will be released just a few weeks after the first volume hits Netflix.
Stranger Things Season 4 Vol. 2 Release Date: When will it coming to Netflix?
On Stranger Things Day 2021 (Nov. 6), Netflix officially announced that Season 4 would be coming in Summer 2022.
On Feb. 17, the official website of Netflix announced that Stranger Things Season 4 will be split into two volumes, with the first volume already released on May 27, and Volume 2 will be released five weeks later, on July 1. The first volume will be released on the same date as Disney+'s Star Wars: Obi-Wan series, and fans are conflicted on which show they would watch first.
The announcement was accompanied by a letter from The Duffer Brothers, the creators of Stranger Things. They also explained that Season 4 has a runtime of almost double the previous seasons, and that Stranger Things will conclude with Season 5.
"With nine scripts, over eight-hundred pages, almost two years of filming, thousands of visual effects shots, and a runtime nearly twice the length of any previous season, Stranger Things 4 was the most challenging season yet, but also the most rewarding one," said The Duffer Brothers in a statement.
"It's also the beginning of the end," they added. "Seven years ago, we planned out the complete story arc for Stranger Things. At the time, we predicted the story would last four to five seasons. It proved too large to tell in four, but -- as you'll soon see for yourselves -- we are now hurtling towards our finale. Season 4 will be the penultimate season; Season 5 will be the last."
