Stranger Things Kids Gather Together for a Christmas Video

We may not have gotten a third season of Stranger Things this year, but the show is expected to release earlier in 2019 if that's any consolation. To get into the Christmas spirit, the child cast of Stranger Things has come together to wrap gifts for some lucky fans.

Check out Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, and newcomer Sadie Sink:

You'll notice that a lot of the cast has already started to have their voices break, which could mean something different for the show. The appeal of Stranger Things usually comes from the likeability of the young cast, now with everyone starting to mature, I'm curious if the show will be able to sustain the kids' appeal or will the cast remain likable despite their age?

For now, we don't know much about what's in store for Season 3. The titles of the episodes have been released online, but they can only give us so much information. What we do know is that Starcourt Mall will have a very significant role in the finale, and it's likely that all the kids (plus the adults) will have some kind of showdown with the Mind Flayer and the rest of its minions.

While it's likely that Stranger Things 3 will release earlier next year, I'm kind of fine with the show coming out the usual Halloween season. It's just the perfect mood-setter for Halloween, and I think it has more mass appeal than this year's The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina or Haunting of Hill House.

No release date has been set for Stranger Things 3 yet, but it should be released sometime in 2019.
