The death of Stephen 'tWitch' Boss shocked many, especially after learning that he died from suicide. Many revisited his quotes about life when he was still alive.

Stephen 'tWitch' Boss Was Very Positive About Life

Two months before tWitch passed away, he reflected on life's possibilities. He shared a message on Twitter that speaks about positivity and assurance that "everything will be alright" despite difficult times.

"One of my favorite parts of flying on a cloudy day is when the plane breaks through the clouds to reveal the beautiful day that's just beyond the cloud ceiling," he wrote on his phone's Notes as shared on Twitter. "A great reminder for life on the vastness of the idea that 'everything will be alright.'"

"And if we can just know, have faith that just beyond whatever clouds are on our perceived ceiling, are clear skies full of potential possibilities and promises."

A fan commented on the post expressing their loneliness for his passing.

"I DON'T understand WHY. Why would you take your own life?

Why would you do this to your children? Why would you do this to your wife??? You were a MUCH LOVED person. You had EVERYTHING going for you. We are shattered by your loss.

I am TRULY broken," the fan commented.

Another netizen responded that "We don't know [the] details yet," adding that tWith could have "intentionally ended his life, it could also be he didn't."

Stephen Boss Once Spoke About Overcoming Hardships 5 Years Before Suicide

Boss had always been positive when it came to his perspective on life. In an episode of Aubrey Marcus Podcast in 2017, he speaks about overcoming hardships and how life "keeps going."

"You will make decisions that might seem right at the time but then they’re not. For me, it just helps to know that it keeps going — it does, no matter what — even if something seems very devastating like there’s some kind of force that’s going to keep going and it’s there for you to naturally access," he said, Page Six reported.

He added that he would sometimes reflect and ask himself, "Wait a minute, but what was this back here that just happened to me?" and would then "make a choice to stay there" and "jump back into the program" of everyday life.

At the time, he didn't share the details of the difficulties he was going through. However, he opened up about the new level of pressure brought to him by fatherhood. At the time, he and his wife, Allison Holker, had just welcomed their second child, Maddox.

“I’m 35 years old, I am a father of two, I’m a husband, so it’s just like I have so many lives other than my own that I have to take account for in my choices, my actions, and all of that,” he said at the time.

“Sometimes, I’m faced to make a choice that is the best possible choice I can make at that given moment. Now, will it be the perfect choice? No. Will it cause me to fall? Maybe, and if so, you’ve got to get back up really, really quick and pick up the lesson of whatever that is and then keep it moving because that’s kind of what life does."

Two years after the interview, they welcomed their youngest child Zaia

Boss and Holker have been married since 2013. They share three children Weslie, 14, Maddox, 6, and Zaia, 3.

tWitch was found dead in a bathtub at the Oak Tree Inn in Encino, California, Tuesday. He reportedly died from suicide.
