Stephen Amell Possibly Confirmed Oliver Queen Will Keep His Beard After Arrow Season 7

It's been a long wait but it looks like Green Arrow's trademark goatee will finally debut in The CW's Arrow. Stephen Amell has just teased on the possibility that Oliver Queen will not be shaving the blond beard anytime soon.

Oliver's facial hair has already been featured in the Season 7 trailer that debuted at the recent San Diego Comic-Con. However, it still appears to be relatively shorter compared to the comic book counterpart's outlandish goatee. But don't fret. Amell's recent Twitter post seems to confirm that the beard will live up to our expectations.

Amell has been vocal about not wanting to sport a full beard on Arrow. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows actor famously tweeted that he will never grow the goatee. However, he went back on his statement by saying he will wear the beard if the show reaches six seasons. It certainly looks like Amell is staying true to his word.

But how long will the blond goatee last? Although some believe that Oliver will immediately shave the beard off in the first few episodes of Arrow Season 7, his current predicament could prove otherwise.

In the previous season finale, Oliver ended up in maximum prison after he revealed that he is the Green Arrow. Amell has already confirmed that Oliver will be in prison for a long time, which could mean the goatee will appear in several episodes.

People who are hoping to see the glorious beard before the Arrow Season 7 premiere can get a glimpse of it when Amell faces Christopher Daniels in the upcoming All In wrestling match on September 1

Arrow Season 7 will air on The CW on October 15.
