Owen and Luke Wilson have taken pretty similar paths in their legendary Hollywood careers but it's still crazy to think that in the year 2021, they're both part of the world's biggest superhero franchises — the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the DC Universe. Luke stars in The CW's Stargirl series as Pat Dugan aka the mentor of Courtney Whitmore while his older brother Owen instantly clicked with fans thanks to his portrayal as Mobius M. Mobius in Loki.

Through the years, fans have pitted the Wilson brothers against one another and unsurprisingly, it's already no secret to Luke himself. During a recent press event he attended (via ComicBook), the younger Wilson jokingly described Marvel people as "odd" individuals before going on to say that he had a hard time trying to understand the God of Mischief's hit Disney+ series.

He said: "I don't know if you've ever lived with anybody in the Marvel Universe but odd people, very, very odd. Whatever snack you have made for yourself. I never did understand the plot of Loki. I had it explained to me a number of times, never got the plot of it. But now, we actually did get to live together for a little over a month, but it was actually really fun. And yeah, it was funny for me to be working for DC and doing a superhero show, and then Owen was playing that character Mobius on Loki."

Luke later said that Owen had a wonderful time working on his first-ever superhero project. He added: "I know that he really enjoyed working on that. And like me, he had not worked on a superhero project and had not worked on a show before, but I know he had a great time and really enjoyed working with Tom Hiddleston."

It would awesome to see the Wilson brothers reunite in a comic book project but seeing as both actors are tied to their respective franchises, the chances of it happening are obviously very slim. I gotta say though, I'm genuinely thrilled that both Luke and Owen were able to revitalize their careers thanks to Marvel and DC.

The entire first season of Stargirl is available for streaming on the CW app. Loki, on the other hand, is exclusively streaming on Disney+.
