Nostalgia is a double-edged sword for the Star Wars franchise but for the most part, it has done wonders for their most recent streaming content. Over the last three years alone, we've seen the reemergence of several actors from the prequel trilogy, most notably Ewan McGregor, Hayden Christensen, and Temuera Morrison.

Now, Natalie Portman, who played Padme Amidala in Episodes I, II, and III is revisiting her career-defining prequel trilogy experience while addressing the possibility of reprising her role as Padme in future projects.

Answering fan questions on GQ's "Actually Me", the Thor: Love and Thunder star revealed what specific item she actually kept and it's something that might leave some of you quite baffled.

One would assume that she kept Padme's outlandish costume from The Phantom Menace or even her ELG-3A blaster pistol but no, it turns out that the one prop she decided to keep isn't even associated with her character. In fact, it's an item used by her on-screen lover Hayden Christensen.

Unfortunately though, she won't be able to hold on to it for long. Portman revealed: "From the second one, I took one of Anakin's braids -- he had that little like braid hanging down -- then I lost it, you know? So that's not very helpful."

In the same video, the Academy Award-winning actress was also asked if she'll return to the franchise. While Portman admits that the ball isn't in her court, she's always open to the idea. She said: "I have no information on this. No one's ever asked me to return, but I'm open to it." Check it out here:

Considering Natalie made her triumphant return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the fifth Thor film, it wouldn't be too farfetched to think that she'll ultimately find her way back to a galaxy far, far away.

Personally, I'd love to see her in flashback sequences for Obi-Wan Kenobi should a second season actually get greenlit. A standalone series doesn't sound too bad either because there are still a lot of Padme-centric stories the franchise has yet to explore.
