I think we can all agree that Darth Vader is one of the most iconic if not the most iconic father in all of geek culture but despite redeeming himself in Return of the Jedi, the Sith Lord is in no contention to win "Father of the Year" award simply because of all the trouble and suffering he put on his twins Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa throughout the original Star Wars trilogy.
Now, the franchise itself is weighing in on whether or not Vader was actually a good father and the verdict might not come as a huge shocker.
Star Wars' Facebook account decided to troll the Sith Lord on Father's Day of all occasions. Posting a collage featuring some of the most recognizable father figures in the franchise's long history — from Han Solo to Din Djarin, the social media handle pretty much confirmed that Vader is the worst dad in the galaxy. Speaking of the Sith Lord, Hayden Christensen recently expressed his desire to continue exploring the character, potentially in his own spinoff series. Now, while it's still a little too early to tell what's in store for the actor's future in Star Wars, the support he's been getting from the fandom is enough to warrant more appearances from him down the line. I mean, Lucasfilm would be foolish not to capitalize on it.
