The monumental success of the MandoVerse headlined by The Mandalorian has given the Star Wars franchise some much-needed boost, as well as plenty of opportunities to expand the universe altogether.

While the MandoVerse aims to bridge the gap between the original trilogy and the sequel trilogy, Lucasfilm is going back to where it all started with the upcoming series The Acolyte, a show that will be centered on the point of view of the Sith during the height of the Jedi's influence and power.

Many are wondering when the Leslye Headland-created series will make its way to Disney+. Now, a new report sheds light on the show's potential release window.

According to Bespin Bulletin, the highly-anticipated series set in the High Republic Era is aiming to premiere sometime in the second quarter of 2024 — that would be anytime between April 1st to June 30th.

While the outlet failed to give an exact release date, it would be safe to assume that Lucasfilm could be eyeing a May premiere just because of the month's significance to the Star Wars franchise.

For now though, I guess we'll just have to wait for the official announcement to be made but the chances of it happening anytime soon is unlikely, especially with the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes already in full effect.
