Star Wars: Temuera Morrison Possibly Playing 2 Characters in The Mandalorian Season 2

In case you missed it, Temuera Morrison has been confirmed to appear in The Mandalorian Season 2 where he will be playing Boba Fett. However, it looks like the Aquaman star could be playing more than just one character in the Star Wars series. A new report suggests that Morrison could portray another character later this year.

It was previously reported that Boba Fett will have a small role in The Mandalorian Season 2 and it only makes sense that Morrison would play the character. After all, he had previously portrayed Boba's "father" Jango Fett in the prequel trilogy. On the other hand, Jango had several "kids", right? An insider pointed out on Twitter that Morrison could play another character in the show.

So who could this possibly be? There are speculations that Morrison could also play the live-action version of Captain Rex in the second season. Rex's possible appearance has been connected to Ahsoka Tano's rumored cameo in the series.

We love the idea that Morrison could play two different characters in The Mandalorian Season 2 especially if it's two memorable characters like Boba and Rex. However, it's also important to remember that this has not yet been confirmed by Disney and Lucasfilm. With that in mind, it's best to take it with a grain of salt.

The Mandalorian Season 2 has not yet been given an official release date but is expected to premiere on Disney+ in October.
