Star Wars Poster Artist Shares Original Movie Art From Ewok Movie

Casual Star Wars fans might not know it, but before Disney acquired Lucasfilm, Star Wars had a TV project called Ewok Adventure, a made-for-TV movie that focused itself all around the Ewoks on the Forest Moon of Endor.

Because the movie was successful enough to receive a theatrical run under the title Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure, the TV-film received movie paraphernalia from Drew Struzan, one of the most popular movie poster artists in the history of Hollywood who had been in charge of all of the posters in the Skywalker saga.

Now, Struzan has decided to share his original art for Ewok Adventure featuring Wicket, Logray, and a quartet of human characters.

You can check it out down here:

It's hard not to enjoy looking at the poster. The art is amazingly detailed, down to the minute hair of the Ewoks. Older fans who've only ever seen the poster on a small VHS case will appreciate this clear view of the An Ewok Adventure. It's amazing how Struzan has been able to keep the poster so clean after 35 years.

For those who haven't seen the film, Ewok Adventure takes place on Endor sometime between The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. It tells the story of the Towani family whose starcruiser crashes into the planet.

Stranded on Endor, Catarine, Jeremitt, Mace, and Cindel Towani find themselves in a bit of a hijinx when the parents are captured by Gorax and the children are taken in by the Ewoks.

Unfortunately, Ewok Adventure is not available for streaming on Disney+.
