Star Wars Possibly Debunked Theory about Jannah Being Lando Calrissian's Daughter

There are several good reasons why people believe that Jannah might be Lando Calrissian's daughter. After all, the two shared an interesting exchange near the end of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. However, it looks like it might be too soon to assume that the two are even related. The novelization of Episode IX has just suggested that Lando is still looking for his lost child.

The novelization of The Rise of Skywalker actually addressed the little exchange between Jannah and Lando where the latter offered to help the young woman find her family (via Comicbook.com). Interestingly, the passage suggests that they won't discover their connection to each other.

An excerpt from the Rise of Skywalker novelization reads as follows:

"Lando and the Lady Luck would help these special kids. Find their families, if that's what they wanted. Help them discover their new place in the galaxy. Heck, maybe he'd find his daughter. Probably not; he knew the odds. But that would be a pretty good way to spend his twilight years, right? If the kids were amenable, anyway."

Of course, there's still a possibility that Lando will realize that his daughter had been with him on their journey. In the meantime, it looks like his search for the child he lost several years ago will have to continue.
