Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi Series Synopsis Makes Its Way Online

May the Fourth might be over, but it looks like major Star Wars news continues to make its way online.

According to a report by Summary, the official synopsis for Lucasfilm's highly-anticipated Obi-Wan Kenobi live-action series has just been leaked, and it looks like the series description promises another adventure for Star Wars fans.

Set between the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: A New Hope, the series is going to feature Obi-Wan Kenobi's journey to Tattoine and his time in the desert planet. Star Wars prequel trilogy star Ewan McGregor is set to reprise his role in the series while Deborah Chow will oversee the production of the project as the series showrunner.

Here's the synopsis for Obi-Wan Kenobi:

"Tatooine, a desert planet where farmers work hard under the heat of two suns. Meanwhile, they try to defend themselves and their loved ones from the Tusken marauders. A planet behind the edge of civilization. And a place where it would be unlikely to find a Jedi master, or an orphan child on whom the future of the entire galaxy weighs on its small shoulders."

It looks like Star Wars fans are returning to Tattoine, and while the setting might seem familiar, we're expecting an entirely new adventure from the series. What is it going to be like for Obi-Wan after the fall of the Jedi in the Revenge of the Sith? How will the Jedi Knight bring peace to the Tattoine farmers being attacked by Tusken Raiders? What kind of life is Obi-Wan going to live protecting Luke Skywalker?

Let's wait and see.

Obi-Wan Kenobi has yet to receive a release date but we'll update fans as soon as we get word.
