Star Wars: New Darth Vader, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Qui-Gon Jinn Titles Revealed

There is little doubt that Darth Vader, Qui-Gon Jinn, and Obi-Wan Kenobi are some of the most iconic Star Wars characters in history. Luckily, we'll be getting new material about these Force users in the near future.

Star Wars unveiled a new comic book series as well as two novels at the 2018 New York Comic-Con (via io9). The comic series is titled Shadow of Vader and is being developed by Chuck Wendig, who worked on the Aftermath novel trilogy. Wendig even confirmed his involvement in the new comics on Twitter.

Shadow of Vader will actually follow different characters who reveal how the Sith Lord changed or affected their lives. Nevertheless, it's an exciting new title where we will learn more about Darth Vader through the eyes of the people around him.

Alice X. Zhang's impressive cover art for Claudia Grey's new book Master & Apprentice was also revealed at NYCC. If you were wondering who the novel will be about, take a look at the image below.

We're certainly looking forward to the novel that will show how Qui-Gon trained Obi-Wan in the ways of the Jedi. We might even find out how Ben Kenobi ended up being Qui-Gon's apprentice in the book. It would be great to see how the two worked together before Obi-Wan became a Jedi Knight and eventually took on Anakin Skywalker as his own apprentice.

A third title was also featured at NYCC. Alphabet Quadron will be written by Alexander M. Freed and will follow a group of Rebel pilots who will hunt down rogue Imperials. The book was given the title since each of the pilots will be flying the letter-designated starfighters.

Master & Apprentice will be published by April 2019. There are no release dates for Shadow of Vader and Alphabet Quadron just yet. Stay tuned for more updates on these awesome new titles.
