Star Wars Mark Hamill Says Donald Trump Is Worse Than Darth Vader

Star Wars legend Mark Hamill is back at making jabs at Donald Trump, this time suggesting that iconic Star Wars villain Darth Vader makes a better person than the incumbent President of the United States.

Lucasfilm's Luke Skywalker just recently went on an interview with The Washington Post on the publication's Cape Up With Jonathan Capehart podcast and during their discussion Hamill made a jab at Trump, saying that the US President couldn't even compare to everyone's favorite Sith Lord.

"Listen," he said, "I really get upset then when people compare [Trump], or even Dick Cheney, to Darth Vader because Darth Vader repented."

While Vader has always been one of the most iconic villains in cinema, the Star Wars baddie had a sudden change of heart sacrificing his life to save his son and defeat Emperor Palpatine in Star Wars: Episode VI- Return of the Jedi.

"He saw the error of his ways. I don't see either one of them [Cheney or Trump] doing that," Hamill explained to the interviewer.

Hamill has always been open about his thoughts on Trump and the current administration. Not only does the Star Wars legend make jabs at the president on Twitter, but he also makes his own audio files where he reads Trump's Tweets in the voice of the Joker, a character which Hamill voices for the DC franchise.

Right now, fans are eager to see Hamill reprise his role as Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode IX where the actor is expected to appear for a short cameo.

Star Wars: Episode IX is set to premiere on December 20, 2019.
