When Lucasfilm announced that English actor Richard E. Grant would be joining the rest of the cast of Star Wars: Episode IX, fans started speculating that the actor would play Grand Admiral Thrawn, a Star Wars Legends character that had made it to Star Wars Rebels.
Grant was quick to debunk the rumors.
Now, speaking in an interview with Yahoo!, the actor decides to be a bit more playful and talk about his role in Episode IX, but only by moving his lips.
According to the actor, he's very much aware of all the different fan theories surrounding his role in The Last Jedi sequel, and apparently, he's been asked by many fans on the street about his part in the film.
"I have, and I've been asked in the street by people, and I've been told in the street by people what role I'm playing," the actor told the publication.
When asked whether he could give away the film's plot, the actor also caved in, mouthing the entire story to the interview. Unfortunately, Yahoo! wasn't that well versed in lip-reading and so the answer lost itself to the wind.
Grant seems to be the perfect safe keeper of secrets – unlike Marvel stars like Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo, this actor certainly knows how to keep a lockdown on all the information he's supposed to keep to himself before the premiere of Episode IX.
Hopefully, we'll get to learn more about Grant's character and the plot of Episode IX once Lucasfilm completes production on the sequel trilogy installment.
