Star Wars: Episode IX Set Leak Suggests Shared Rey, Kylo Ren And Luke Skywalker Scene

Star Wars: Episode IX is in its first few weeks of production, and fans are eager to learn more about what director J.J. Abrams has in store for everyone in the third and final film of the Star Wars sequel trilogy.

There hasn't been that much official news from Lucasfilm about Episode IX yet, but according to a new report by Express, word has it that green screen sets are being built at Pinewood Studios in London. Green screen sets might not seem like much of a surprise considering the fact that most blockbuster movies work a lot with green screen, but Abrams has always had a preference for shooting in physical locations.

This makes working with so many green screens a source of speculation for the Force Ghost Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), a rumor that's been going on ever since the release of The Last Jedi.

Two new sets have been described by Express' leaks, and it looks like Hamill might be shooting scenes with two of Lucasfilm's sequel trilogy leads, Adam Driver and Daisy Ridley.

Of course, knowing that these leaks have yet to be confirmed, fans ought to take these reports with a grain of salt. However, if these leaks end up being true, then fans might actually get to see another fight scene between Rey and Ren, but this time with the Force Ghost of Luke.

Let's just wait and see what happens really.

Star Wars: Episode IX hits cinemas December 20, 2019.
