Star Wars: Episode IX Leaks Reveal Resistance’s Battle With The First Order In Snow Planet

While Star Wars fans have been on the lookout for the highly anticipated Star Wars: Episode IX teaser, a new leak from the UK set of the third and final chapter in the sequel trilogy have made its way online.

According to a new report by Express, images from Episode IX continue to leak online, and the latest photos reveal what seems to be the aftermath of the ground battle between the Resistance and the First Order. Taken at the UK Set in Black Park, these photos of Episode IX seem to give away a new snow planet forested like Hoth.

Could we get another snow fight scene in the Star Wars franchise, or could director J.J. Abrams be planning to take us back to the horizon of Starkiller base in Episode IX flashbacks?

Star Wars fans managed to bring some of these pictures to Instagram.

Check them out down here:

While the blackened trees look like they were part of a battle – possibly Kylo Ren's (Adam Driver), Finn (John Boyega) and Rey's (Daisy Ridley) in the Force Awakens – the foliage could very well be a new design for the new planet.

There's been a lot of talk about Abrams expanding the Star Wars universe in Episode IX with rumors saying that the director is bringing in more planets and more creatures to the film than other Star Wars installments.

What do you think? Are we seeing a brand new planet in Episode IX, or are we making our way back to the Starkiller base?

Star Wars: Episode IX premieres December 20, 2019.
