Star Wars: Episode IX Leaked Images Might Have Taken Fans To The Planet Of Batuu

Lucasfilm might do everything to keep the secrets of its upcoming projects under wraps, Star Wars: Episode IX's production has allowed for sneaky fans to get set photos and leak them out on the internet.

Yesterday, photos of the Millennium Falcon parked in a forest made its way online, and now according to new speculation, the iconic YT-1300 Corellian light freighter might have actually settled in forest of Batuu.

According to a report by Inverse, though fans might believe that the forest is the one they first saw in the planet of Takodana ( the planet where Maz Kanata's castle is located) when they watched Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the place is most likely somewhere else new – most specifically the planet of Batuu.

For those who aren't familiar with the location yet, Batuu serves as the main setting for Disney's upcoming Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge theme parks for the Mickey Mouse House's parks in Orlando, Florida and Anaheim, California.

Described as a planet "notable for the lush tries" and "a safe haven for those looking to avoid the attention of the First Order," Batuu sounds like a new spot that the Resistance might have settled in after Star Wars: The Last Jedi. After all, Disney would want its Galaxy's Edge theme park to stay connected to the Star Wars saga.

What do you think? Could we be heading to Batuu in Star Wars: Episode IX?
