Star Wars: Episode IX And Why Snoke Might Be Able To Return

Lucasfilm might be very careful about the information that it drops now that Star Wars: Episode IX is set for release later this year, but somehow fans can't keep talking about the different Star Wars rumors that have been making their way online. Some of these rumors claim the return of fan-favorite characters like Darth Vader and Darth Sidious. Some of these rumors suggest the appearance of unexpected characters like Anakin Skywalker and Snoke (Andy Serkis).

Now, as fans continue to wait for the trailer for Episode IX, Fansided tries to explore some of these rumors circulating Episode IX, discussing the possibility of Snoke's appearance in the film. The Star Wars villain might have been cut in half during the Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Ren (Adam Driver) team-up sequence in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, but fans are still expecting Snoke's return in the upcoming Star Wars film.

According to The Dork Side Of The Force, Snoke knew that his apprentice had every intention of killing him. However, if the Supreme Leader had let Ren kill Rey instead, then there would have been a chance of his return to the Light. Instead, Snoke's "death" would allow Rey to spiral further into the Darkness.

If Luke (Mark Hamill) could pull of a trick like Force Projection, then why not Snoke? Why couldn't he be capable of doing the same thing? After all, Snoke has been touted to be one of the strongest Force-users in Star Wars history.

We'll just have to wait and see what happens to this new Star Wars theory.

Star Wars: Episode IX premieres December 20, 2019.
