If there is one movie item that has become iconic in our memory, it's the Star Wars lightsaber. George Lucas and his friends somehow managed to make the coolest-looking fictional weapon of all time, one that is often copied or satirized in tv shows, comic books, and video games. This is why fans are fairly excited for Star Wars: The Lightsaber Collection, which details some of the most famous lightsabers from the franchise's canon.
StarWars.com has decided to share some of these pages, giving us some cool details on the lightsabers of Anakin Skywalker, Mace Windu, Yoda, and Asaji Ventress from The Clone Wars. Knowing that characters from The Clone Wars will be here is a good indication that every single lightsaber from the canon that Disney approves of is going to appear, whether it's from the films, Marvel comic books, or various animated shows.
Obviously, The Lightsaber Collection is one for hardcore Star Wars fans and we're sure that they will buy them in droves. Getting to know these characters through their weapons is pretty damn cool, if you can pardon my french, and will likely characterize some characters better than in the movies. Looking at your prequel characters who could have been used better.
