Star Wars Celebration 2019 will take place in Chicago, Illinois next year to bring together Star Wars fans from around the world on April 11-15, and Lucasfilm has released a new trailer to hype fans up and remind us that tickets are now on sale.
"The official Star Wars convention, Star Wars Celebration features appearances by actors and creators from across the saga, panel discussions, family activities, and exclusive reveals. Buckle up for the year's biggest Star Wars party!"
The trailer features footage from previous Star Wars conventions so it doesn't exactly show what to expect from Star Wars Celebration 2019 but since Star Wars: Episode IX will be released on December 20 next year, expect to see a teaser for it at the event. The convention could also reveal new information about the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi or Boba Fett standalone films as well as Rian Johnson's upcoming Star Wars trilogy. Just expect to see some surprising announcements at this event. The Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are also developing a series of Star Wars films, so the event might tease us more details about that.
Solo: A Star Wars Story is still showing in theaters.
