Star Wars Battlefront II: General Grievous Officially Coming Out This October

Though Star Wars Battlefront II didn't launch off with a good start, the game has slowly been improving, and getting more players as it goes along. This Clone Wars season is promising us a new map with new heroes, and it's been announced that the first new hero, General Grievous, is officially arriving in October.

Seeing that EA had to pull developers off of Star Wars Battlefront II to work on Battlefield V, updates for the game have been very scarce. The latest patch actually had something to do with improving the squad system and matchmaking, but this will be the first new hero coming since Finn and Phasma during the Last Jedi season. Remaining Clone Wars heroes we have yet to get are Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Count Dooku.

We still don't have a full set list of Grievous' skills, but it's said that he will come with two skins; I'm assuming one skin has him wearing the cape, and the other without. Maybe in the long run, DICE will actually have us use Grievous with his original body and not the droid one that we're so familiar with.

Though there was a lot of negativity when it came to this game, people are slowly admitting that Star Wars Battlefront II is going to be staying for a long while. I think with all the negative press that came out, EA needs to do another campaign promoting all the new incoming material to entice players that were turned off before to actually try out the game.

Star Wars Battlefront II is now playable for PS4, PC, and Xbox One.
