Star Wars actor John Boyega may have previously been overly critical of how Disney handled the franchise's sequel trilogy, especially the treatment his character Finn got over the course of the films but according to Boyega himself, he'd still be willing to reprising his role should he be given the opportunity. However, he says that there are a few factors to consider for that to happen.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Boyega said that although he'd be down to make his epic comeback in the saga somewhere down the line, his return would depend on if Daisy Ridley and Oscar Isaac are also still game to do it. Here's what he had to say: "I don't know what's going on with Star Wars. I'm alive - that's one thing. But it would depend on story and if Daisy [Ridley] and Oscar [Isaac] are coming back. I wouldn't want to be running around by myself or anything."

The Skywalker saga wrapped up in 2019's The Rise of Skywalker but that doesn't mean Rey, Finn, and Poe's days in a galaxy far, far away are numbered. If anything, their true exploits are only about to begin post-Episode IX, and with Disney's expansion of the Star Wars franchise, the chances of the beloved trio coming together one more time are pretty likely. However, should a new film featuring them come into fruition, I'd like for it to be Finn-centric this time around because obviously, Boyega's character deserves a little redemption and better writing.
