Excitement is already in the air as The Mandalorian finally makes its return to Disney+ after nearly three years. It goes without saying that Season 2 is a tough act to follow and the question on everyone's mind is, how will Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni surpass the hype the previous season generated?

Judging by the stuff we've seen in the teasers so far, Season 3 promises to be the most action-packed entry yet and it looks like it won't skimp on the fan service, as evidenced by a social media post that has now been taken down. Apparently, The Mandalorian Season 3 will once again feature the return of a fan-favorite character who made waves in the second season.

The official Facebook handle for Star Wars Hong Kong (via SFFGazette.com) accidentally revealed the return of Boba Fett in Season 3. The beloved character, who headlined his own spinoff series The Book of Boba Fett has somewhat become a fixture in the MandoVerse but his status for The Mandalorian upcoming third season has long been shrouded in mystery.

Translated from Chinese to English, the now-deleted post writes: "The original team is back. The Mandalorian [Din Djarin] and [Grogu] are about to embark on a new adventure! Plus the bounty hunter [Boba Fett] and other old allies and new enemies!"

While Fett's involvement shouldn't come as a surprise, it's worth noting that Lucasfilm has yet to confirm whether or not he shows up in Season 3. Even the teasers that have been released didn't feature the famed bounty hunter so we can safely say that the Hong Kong Star Wars page committed a little boo-boo.

The Mandalorian's third season finally hits Disney+ tomorrow, March 1st.
