Star Trek 4 Star Zachary Quinto Excited to Reteam with SJ Clarkson

Zachary Quinto, who plays Spock in the Star Trek films, is excited to reteam with director SJ Clarkson when the production for Star Trek 4 starts.

Quinto recently appeared on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, where Colbert asked Quinto about the future of the Star Trek film franchise and Quentin Tarantino's upcoming Star Trek film.

"I know more now than I knew a few weeks ago, which is that there will be a fourth movie...if we stay on the track we're on," Quinto told Colbert. "But I think there is going to be a movie before Quentin's movie. So, there may even be a movie after the next movie, so we have a lot to look forward to."

We already know that Paramount Pictures is developing two Star Trek films: one directed by Quentin Tarantino and the other directed by S.J. Clarkson.

"They just announced a woman will be directing the next one, which is really exciting," the actor said. "It's the first time in the feature universe. And it's actually a woman I know and have worked with before named SJ Clarkson and she is incredible. I'm very excited."

Quinto's excitement for S.J. Clarkson's Star Trek film is a good sign that the franchise has big plans for the future films.
