Fans are so happy that our favorites from Netflix's Squid Game are recognized in the western hemisphere. Recently, cast members of the show, including Lee Jung Jae, Park Hae Soo, Wi Ha Joon, and Jung Ho Yeon, dropped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for a special appearance.

The Squid Game cast looked dashing on their first American TV interview, where they talked about the plot of the series, their characters, and how it has become the No. 1 show globally.

What Did Jimmy Fallon And The Squid Game Cast Talk About?

In the recent episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Lee Jung Jae opened the segment by explaining to host Jimmy Fallon and to the audience what his take on the plot of Squid Game is.

Jung Jae explained that the show's premise is about a mysterious game that brings people dealing with pain from different walks of life. The fatal games then pit these individuals against each other for a considerable amount of prize money.

Fallon pointed out the Jung Jae is known in Korea for playing villainous characters, which he was shocked about since the K-drama actor has a very kind face. The American host then praised Squid Game, described it as shocking yet beautiful, and told the cast that it is now the No. 1 show in over 90 countries.

Park Hae Soo was then asked by Fallon when he realized that Squid Game was so big. Hae Soo answered comically, saying that he only realized it has become so big while doing the Tonight Show. The South Korean actor went on to thank the viewers and the media.

On the other hand, Wi Ha Joon explained why the story of Squid Game is so appealing to the viewers. He said it is because of the games played in the show and how original the plot is.

Lastly, Jung Ho Yeon discussed the first game in Squid Game, Red Light, Green Light, as Jimmy Fallon showed the doll head the show gifted to him.

Unfortunately, no, Jimmy Fallon did not ask the cast whether there would be a second season. There have been several theories and speculations from fans that a Squid Game Season 2 will be happening. But, the cast has not addressed these rumors nor mentioned them in the many promotions they have done for the popular South Korean series.
