Square Enix Shows 10 Minutes of Shadow of The Tomb Raider Gameplay Footage

Square Enix has released a new Shadow of the Tomb Raider gameplay video that's loaded with 10 minutes of new footage from the game. The preview features the game's new hub world called Paititi, which is said to be the biggest hub world in the history of Tomb Raider games.

Players will be able to explore Paititi after a certain point in the game, and there, Lara can explore a civilization that is untouched by the modern world. Players will be able to explore its tombs in its different regions as well as trade in the hub's marketplace. As shown in the video, Lara will be able to pet an Alpaca.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider also features a new immersion mode, which will let NPCs speak in their native language to make the experience feel more authentic, but you can switch the mode off if you want.

The preview also shows Lara using her signature moves like climbing, swimming, and other stunts that she does when exploring tombs.

Apparently, the game is set to "hard" in this preview as the usual white markers that indicate where players can climb are not seen.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is set to be released for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 4.
