Spy x Family Episode 5 Reveals Anya's Awesome Present for Getting Into Eden Academy

It's finally time for Spy x Family Episode 5 and fans finally got to find out whether the Forgers passed or failed the interview to get into Eden Academy. Although things didn't turn out as viewers initially hoped, the episode still delivered some good news and several action-packed scenes featuring the entire family!

In Spy x Family Episode 5, the Forgers returned to Eden Academy to find out that Anya didn't pass. However, Henry Henderson approached them, revealing that the little girl made it to the top of the waiting list and that she would be accepted into the school if an accepted student withdraws. Upon hearing that, Yor Forger contemplates killing the parent of an accepted student to obtain a spot for Anya but it looks like this wasn't necessary.

As Anya performs a "prayer ritual" to be accepted, the Forgers receive a call confirming that the little girl got a spot to get into Eden Academy. Franky Franklin immediately drops in to celebrate and when Anya reveals she wants to reenact Bondman's mission, suggests that Loid Forger hire a castle where they can all roleplay.

This should be fine on its own but Loid is also convinced to call on WISE agents after Anya is disappointed by the lack of bad guys. The agents are eager to help for the chance to go up against the master spy Twilight and Loid is cast as Loidman who must rescue "Princess Anya" from Franky and Yor.

It's an awesome action-packed episode and the highlight is undoubtedly Loidman going up against "Yorticia" aka drunk Yor. Luckily, it all ends well (Yor falls asleep) and Anya promises Loid that she will do her best in school.

Spy x Family Episode 6 is titled The Friendship Scheme ("Nakayoshi Sakusen") and will follow the manga's Chapters 7 and 8. The new episode will air on Saturday, May 14, 2022.
