Spider-Man Star Tom Holland Wants A Multiverse Movie With Maguire And Garfield

Ever since his appearance in Captain America: Civil War, Tom Holland has been considered the best live-action version of Spider-Man on the big screen. Not only fans call the British actor's version of Peter Parker the most comic book accurate, but they praise Spider-Man for his wit and humor.

Though it's hard to image Marvel bringing some of Sony's other Spider-Men like Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield, it looks like Holland would want to appear in a movie alongside the other actors who've played Peter Parker along the years.

Speaking with Jake Hamilton to help promote Spider-Man: Far From Home, his latest film as Marvel's web-slinger, Holland decided to play it cool but was engaged when asked whether Marvel's new multiverse would give room for a team-up with Maguire and Garfield.

"Of course I would love to make a movie with those guys, it would be so cool!" Holland said. "It would be amazing, it would be really, really cool. And it's something that the fans really want. So whether Marvel and Sony decided to do that, it's up to them. It's not up to me, I can't walk in like 'Kevin [Feige], this is what we're doing on the next one.' But it would be really awesome."

Holland is right though. As exciting as a Spider-Man team-up movie sounds, Marvel still has to consider what Sony wants for the franchise. After all, Spider-Man is still a Sony property. The only reason why Holland can play Peter Parker in the MCU is because of a deal Marvel managed to strike with Sony.

Spider-Man: Far From Home premieres July 2, 2019.
