Spider-Man PS4 New Game Plus Update is Now Available

PS4 owners everywhere rejoice, as Insomniac Games has finally released the 1.08 update of Marvel's Spider-Man aka Spider-Man PS4. This update brings the heavily requested New Game Plus to the title, as well as the Ultimate Difficulty mode for those that want a challenge. There are also new trophies to obtain, so those that have gotten a 100% rating in the game should swing on the back for more.

New Game Plus will allow players to replay the game with all of the upgrades and costumes they had before, so you can put on that sweet Anti-Ock armor at the beginning of the game. Getting to replay sections of the game with a costume of the player's preference will only do wonders for the title's replayability, which is already pretty high.

Since we haven't tried it out yet, we aren't sure how difficult the Ultimate mode will be, though we do like how the developers are keeping Spider-Man comic book titles as the way to measure difficulty. For those unaware, the difficulties go by as follows: Friendly-Neighborhood (Easy), Amazing (Normal), Spectacular (Hard), and now Ultimate (Very Hard).

With DLC coming out in a few days, it's clear that fans will be playing this game for quite some time. Two more DLC chapters are slated for November and December dates respectively. After The Heist, we will be getting Turf Wars in November and Silver Lining in December. Hopefully, they all come with three costumes each like The Heist will.
