Spider-Man PS4 Art Book Reveals Unused Costume Design That Should Be in the Game

It's official; Marvel's Spider-Man, or Spider-Man PS4 as it's commonly called, isn't just a great superhero game, it's also one of Sony's best exclusives on the PS4. Featuring some of the most fun open-world gameplay we've had in a long while, it's a worthwhile title for those that like the character or just want a good game. As fans wait for the first DLC episode - as well as New Game Plus - they might be interested to know that there is an unused costume that was spotted in the game's art book.

And it looks pretty cool.

Below, fans can see one of the original designs Insomniac Games had planned for the original Advanced Suit that made its debut in the game. Looking like an interesting mix between Peter's original outfit and the costume Ben Reilly used when he adopted the Spider-Man moniker, it is a cool-looking suit and one that should be added to the game ASAP. Looks much better than the Velocity Suit.

With more outfits planned as part of the DLC, we could be seeing this appear in the game sooner or later. It would be awesome if it were free, but let's not get our hopes up. Bottom line is that the costume looks great and we need it in the game yesterday.

Thankfully, the game already has 28 great looking suits so if we don't get this, it won't be a huge loss. Plus, the title is just fun to play so expect people to replay this game like crazy, whether it's to get all the trophies or just to relax and swing around. Hopefully, the DLC lives up to the hype and adds more replay value to the already addicting PS4 exclusive.

Spider-Man PS4 is available now, so if you haven't bought it yet, do so now.
