Spider-Man: No Way Home TV Spot Reveals Extended Footage of Pivotal Scene

Ever since Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios dropped the first official trailer for Spider-Man: No Way Home last August, webheads have been clamoring to see more of Peter Parker's next adventure now that we're set to explore the Marvel multiverse. As it stands, we're still being kept in the dark regarding the release of the highly anticipated second trailer but the upcoming MCU offering just unveiled its first official TV spot and it's definitely something you have to see especially if you're thirsting for more Spidey content.

Now, before you get all excited, we gotta make it clear that the new teaser doesn't include the rumored cameo appearances by Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield. In fact, it's pretty much just the original trailer featuring extended footage of the encounter between Peter Parker and Doctor Strange in the Mirror Dimension. Check it out here:

With over a month before its release, the marketing campaign for Spider-Man: No Way Home has been hella intriguing, to say the least. It would be safe to assume that has always been the plan from the get-go and the studios want to hold out the "surprises" for when the film comes out which I guess isn't a bad thing. Still, the lack of promotional material ahead of its release next month is something we haven't seen from an MCU flick before. I mean, not even the Avengers films left us hanging like this. Obviously, something is up, and if anything, Marvel and Sony collectively want to break the internet.

Spider-Man: No Way Home hits cinemas on December 17, 2021.
