We're only a few months away from the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home but Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have yet to give us the long overdue trailer. Naturally, webheads have grown impatient with the lack of Spider-Man 3 content ahead of its highly anticipated premiere in December and despite the title reveal from earlier this year and several set photos that have leaked online, fans still aren't satisfied with what they're getting which is pretty understandable.

As it stands, we still don't have any idea when the actual trailer drops, and even Hollywood's top insiders remain clueless as to when it could actually be released. The film itself is also shrouded by mystery but many people are convinced that the film will actually mark the grand comeback of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield who have both been heavily rumored to be reprising their Spider-Man roles.

On the villain side of things, several reports have suggested that No Way Home will mark the grand debut of the (multiversal) Sinister Six comprising of Doc Ock, Electro, Mysterio, Vulture, Scorpion, and the returning Green Goblin to be played by Willem Dafoe. Unsurprisingly, both studios have kept mum regarding the rumors but a new merch leak seems to confirm that the iconic Marvel supervillain group will indeed wreak havoc in New York City.

Entertainment Earth's latest listing features a Spider-Man toy set with the description: "With lots of articulation and potentially multiversal consequences, each figure draws its inspiration from the movie - and potentially other movies too!" Intriguingly, the listing is teasing "sinister people" who will also be part of upcoming waves.

A lot of Marvel-related merchandise has been notorious for "leaking" important details about upcoming projects and whether the studio is actually responsible for them or not, I'll leave that one up to you to decide.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is slated for release on December 17, 2021.
