Spider-Man Might Make His Way to Fortnite Soon

Fortnite's fourth season is finally here along with a massive Marvel crossover, Nexus War. This season sees Thor bringing along characters like Iron Man, She-Hulk, and Wolverine to take down Galactus. However, Marvel's presence in the game seems to be getting a lot bigger, with evidence that points to Spider-Man joining the roster as well.

Fortnite data miner HYPEX has recently uncovered some details, discovering that a Spider-Man logo was in one of the Season 4 achievements. Fans and players are speculating that the wall-crawler could be arriving in the item shop eventually to join in on the battle.

In addition, notable Fortnite leaker, Shiina, also shared more evidence. Spider-Man's longtime foe, Carnage, was also referenced in the game's achievements.

Of course, this is far from definitive proof that the fan-favorite character will make his way to the game's new season. There's also the problem with rights to the character following the deal between Marvel and Sony.

With the Marvel superheroes set to face the all-powerful Galactus, it would make sense to add more heroes to the crew to defeat him. There's a good chance that we'll see Spider-Man soon, but for now, players should take this with a grain of salt.

Fortnite is available for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
