Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse Sneak Peek Trailer Has Tons of New Footage

Sony has spider-fever and they're about to spread it to the rest of the world. Today marks the release of Marvel's Spider-Man, the acclaimed PS4 exclusive and the best Spider-Man game ever made. To celebrate that game's success and release, Sony has unveiled a sneak peek trailer of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which has a surprising amount of new footage.

After an introduction from Into the Spider-Verse actors Shameik Moore (Miles Morales) and Jake Johnson (Peter Parker), we get plenty of new footage mixed in with scenes we've seen in previous videos.

To show just how comic book-influenced this movie is, one of the new scenes is Peter Parker getting into a fight with some thugs, all of which is separated into different panels. It adds to the luscious animation techniques we've already seen and should get the attention of those that like the art form; not just comic book fans.

We also get new scenes featuring Prowler, Spider-Gwen, and the dragon-like Green Goblin. As expected, these scenes are gorgeous to watch in motion. There is still no sign of Nicholas Cage's Spider-Man Noir but they might be saving that for the full movie.

Catch Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse when it arrives in theaters Dec. 14.
