Spider-Man: Far From Home Trailer Gets Some Bad News

Seeing how Marvel fans attending Brazil's CCXP got to have a look at the very first Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer last week, speculation started circulating online that Sony and Marvel would release the footage of Spider-Man: Homecoming's sequel would drop that very same weekend. Unfortunately, the trailer never came, and while earlier reports claimed that the footage would be released mid-December, it looks like the video won't be coming at all.

Marvel and Disney insider Daniel R just took to Twitter to announce that multiple sources have just given a new update on the trailer for Far From Home saying that footage for the Homecoming sequel wouldn't be shown online this week or for the time being.

Analysts initially believed that Sony would have tried to drop Far From Home's trailer along with hotly anticipated films like Aquaman and Bumblebee, but seeing that these films belong to rival studios, it looks like the company might be hoping to release the footage with Holmes and Watson.

While the missing trailer does seem like a bit of a disappointment to Marvel fans, there's a bit of certainty that the footage has already been prepared for release. According to MCU Cosmic, Sony already submitted the trailer of Far From Home to rating boards, revealing that the clip comes around two and a half minutes in length.

Hopefully, Sony decides to drop the trailer within this month, giving Marvel fans something to feast on during the Christmas season.

Spider-Man: Far From Home launches on July 5, 2019.
