Spider-Man: Far from Home Set Video Gives Us a Better Look at [SPOILER] Version of the Suit

Spider-Man may not have any connection to Venom in the MCU (that we know of), but Far from Home has somehow managed to give him a black suit in the film. We've seen a set photo of the outfit, but now we get a closer look thanks to a set video.

Check it out:

While some people see this costume as an homage to Spider-Man Noir, I like to think that it's actually leaning a lot closer to the symbiote suit. Sure it isn't really alien in origin, but it still gives us a Spidey that's all in black. It would be amazing if he actually got the white Spider logo on it somehow.

This isn't the first time other costumes were referenced in the movies as well. When we see Peter Parker's homemade suit in Spider-Man: Homecoming, it actually looks a lot like the Scarlet Spider costume from the comics. We don't know what happens to his traditional suit in this film, but I'm loving this whole new take on black suit Spider-Man.

We have recently gotten some shots from Far from Home putting us in some carnival, and I'm guessing it's going to be a place where Mysterio attacks. Seeing that he's a master of special effects, Mysterio's theatrics can be perfectly placed in someplace like a carnival.

I can't say much on why Spider-Man would need a black suit though.

Catch Spider-Man: Far from Home comes out July 5, 2019.
