Spider-Man: Far From Home Completes Filming In Venice

It looks like Marvel's Spider-Man: Far From Home has just completed production in Venice.

Taking to Instagram, Marvel's favorite web-slinging star Tom Holland decided to post a brand new video celebrating the end of filming in Venice and thanking everyone for the support they gave while the team was working on the film.

"Honestly the best job of my life," the British actor wrote on his Instagram. "Thank you Venice, Prague and of course my hometown London. I could not have asked for a better crew and the support from our amazing fans has been incredible. Love you all and New York here we come."

It's been a while since work on Spider-Man: Homecoming's sequel officially began. Production on the film started in the United Kingdom in July and then moved to Venice in Italy.

While it might seem like a surprise to some that the Spider-Man movie is filming scenes outside the US, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige did tell fans before that Peter Parker would be doing some traveling outside of the country in Far From Home.

There isn't that much information yet about Far From Home's main story, but fans are probably going to get more details about the film once Avengers 4 premieres next year. Far From Home may very well hold spoilers to the sequel to Avengers: Infinity War seeing how the film follows the events of Avengers 4.

Spider-Man: Far From Home is set for release on July 5, 2019.
