Frozen 2 Special Look Gives Us New Song ‘Into the Unknown’

Besides the visuals and fantasy, what really makes the Frozen franchise is the music. We should expect some new songs with the upcoming sequel, and a new look at the film teases a new song from Idina Menzel (Elsa), Into the Unknown.

I'll admit, it's not as catchy as Let It Go, but I wouldn't put it past the film to have their "hit song" somewhere in the middle. Besides, Over the Garden Wall already gave us a catchy Into the Unknown song:

Though only a teaser of the song was released in the trailer, I'm sure Disney will release the full soundtrack right before the film comes out, just like they do with their other musical releases.

I'll admit, the original Frozen doesn't have the same appeal to adults that Zootopia or Wreck-It Ralph have, but Disney looks to be "maturing" the story when it comes to the sequel. After all, the little girls who grew up watching the original film must be in their teens now, and it's likely they want something a tad more substantial when it comes to the stories of Anna and Elsa.

Why was Elsa born with magical powers? The answer is calling her and threatening her kingdom. Together with Anna, Kristoff, Olaf, and Sven, she'll set out on a dangerous but remarkable journey. In "Frozen," Elsa feared her powers were too much for the world. In "Frozen 2," she must hope they are enough.

Frozen 2 is set to hit theaters Nov. 22.
