Sony Removes Spider-Man Spin-off Silver and Black From Movie Schedule

Fans had no idea how to feel about Silver and Black, the Spider-Man spinoff announced by Sony a few years ago. No one was exactly craving for a film that would star Silver Sable or Black Cat, let alone a team-up between the two, especially without everyone's favorite wallcrawler. With all that being said, the film's sudden removal from Sony's release schedule is still surprising.

The film was supposed to hit theaters next February, putting it in competition with Fox's X-Men: Dark Phoenix. However, it is now un-dated, though it has not been canceled yet. It seems like the film will still be in production and no one will be able to see it for a while.

Sony's SILVER AND BLACK was set for Feb. 8, 2019, but is now listed as the worst date possible...UNDATED.

Sony will be trying to fix this film somehow since it is slated to be in the same universe as Tom Hardy's Venom film, which actually looks promising. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for Silver and Black, though to be fair we have seen absolutely nothing from the film. It looks like that will continue to be the case.

Considering how it had a release date, the fact that it's no longer scheduled means it must have gone through some serious trouble. Unlike Black Cat, the studio can't seem to get any good luck.
