With the show’s release inching ever closer, Crunchyroll finally released a new trailer for the highly anticipated Solo Leveling anime at Anime Expo 2023.
While this is the third trailer for the show, it is the most interesting one as it finally shows off more new scenes that will give fans a better idea of what to expect.
This new trailer was first shown during the Crunchyroll Industry Panel at Anime Expo 2023, making this one of the many big reveals of the event.
Solo Leveling Finally Gets Proper Trailer After One Year
Solo Leveling is easily one of the most popular manhwa thanks to its action-packed fantasy story.
Given this, it was with much excitement that an anime adaptation was announced last year at Anime Expo 2022.
During the initial announcement, a trailer was released. Though this wasn’t much of a trailer given that it did not contain actual footage from the anime. Instead, it was mostly composed of motion graphics.
A few months ago though, Crunchyroll released an official teaser that featured actual footage, but they were still mostly snippets.
Alongside this teaser, it was revealed that instead of airing in late 2023, the show’s release date was delayed to the first quarter of 2024.
Given that A-1 Pictures is the studio working on this anime, it’s possible that the delays in Winter 2023 were the reason Solo Leveling’s release was moved back.
Since then, no new update was made about the show, until Anime Expo 2023.

Crunchyroll Shares New Solo Leveling Trailer at Anime Expo 2023
Anime Expo 2023 already saw lots of big announcements, including the surprise return of Black Butler as well as Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 delays.
Joining these big stories is the new Solo Leveling trailer which is a must-watch for fans of the manhwa as it’s a proper showcase of the anime’s characters and fight scenes.
Specifically, the protagonist, Sung Jin-Woo, was the center of attention in the latest trailer. Though other characters such as Yoo Jin-Ho, Baek Yoon-Ho, and Cha Hae-In were also featured.
Given how popular the manhwa is, Solo Leveling is no doubt going to be one of 2024’s most anticipated titles.
Although fans are hoping that the anime does justice to the source material’s incredible art.
Solo Leveling will be released on Crunchyroll in Q1 2024. For now, there’s no word yet on a specific release date.
